About this experience
Join Tigist in her family home for a traditional Ethiopian buna ceremony. Watch green beans roasted over charcoal, ground by hand and brewed in a clay jebena, served in three rounds — abol, tona and baraka — with popcorn, frankincense and conversation.
Hosted with warmth by Tigist Bekele: “Coffee was born in Ethiopia and in my home it is how we welcome friends. I host the buna ceremony the way my grandmother taught me.”
